Matthew R. D’Angelo,

Why are you interested in serving on the NBCRNA Board of Directors?
The NBCRNA serves a critical role in the anesthesiology community by ensuring patient safety through professional certification. As a leader in the nurse anesthesia community, and long time educator, the NBCRNA directly aligns with my professional interests, and is a natural progression in my career. As a board member, I would represent not only clinical nurse anesthetists, but the academic and military CRNA communities.
Describe your qualifications and experiences in leadership.
I have been a CRNA for nearly half of my life. During this time, I have had the pleasure of serving in a variety of academic, clinical and military leadership positions. Through these roles, I have developed the tacit skills required to effectively lead within all levels of an organization.
Describe your current employment, including major clinical, teaching, or practice areas; field/place of employment; and responsibilities.
