MAC Ed (60 Class A Credits)

MAC Ed (60 Class A credits) is the same requirement as before, just under a new name! MAC Ed facilitates continued education (CE) through activities that have prior approval from accredited organizations (AANA, ANCC, or ACCME) as part of regularly updating CRNAs knowledge and skills to provide the highest quality care.

How it Works

 

Earn 60 Class A credits during your four-year cycle.


 

To qualify for a Class A credit, an activity must have prior approval from accredited organizations (AANA, ANCC, or ACCME), include an assessment component, and be relevant to nurse anesthesia practice. 

  • Additional MAC Ed (Class A) credits over the required 60 per four-year cycle can be applied towards the MAC Dev (Class B) credit requirement.
